This is the idea behind Lip Memory, a collection of five lip pencils inspired by the little moments that leave their mark.
Because colour can become a memory too.
As the colour softens, the trace remains
Lip Memory is not a conventional long-lasting lip pencil.
Its tint effect comes from a carefully selected range of colourants and lake pigments that lightly stain the lips. As the initial colour softens, a delicate veil remains on the skin: natural, subtle and lasting.
Like the memory of something you have just experienced.
The collection has been developed with our F950 Soft Wooden Lipliner, our most delicate formula to define the lips.
Its soft texture makes it easy to outline, fill and blend the colour. It can be used to create a subtle lip contour, apply an all-over wash of colour or achieve the naturally diffused tint effect that defines Lip Memory.

The technology behind the trace
Lip Memory’s distinctive effect comes from a carefully selected combination of colourants and lake pigments, including Blue 1 Lake, Yellow 5 Lake and Acid Red 92 (CI 45410).
These components allow a light trace of colour to remain on the lips as the initial layer of product gradually softens.
This technology also determines the colour range that can be developed. Not every shade or pigment combination produces the same tint effect, so the colour possibilities for Lip Memory are more limited than those of a conventional lipliner.
Here, that limitation becomes part of the concept: five shades selected for their ability to leave a visible, delicate and natural-looking trace.

Create your own Lip Memory
Lip Memory is a starting point for developing a collection tailored to each brand’s identity.
The five shades presented reflect the colour possibilities offered by this tint technology. The project can be customised through pencil decoration, finishes and packaging design.
It is also possible to work with other formulas and colour selections to create a different proposal, although the final result and behaviour on the lips will not necessarily be the same as those of the Lip Memory formula.
