We’d been wanting to expand our PRIME range of wooden eye pencils for some time. The shades we already had were working really well, and they all had one thing in common: they were saturated, matte and very easy to add to any collection.

But something was missing.

More light, more reflection and a slightly more special finish. Shades that would still be easy to wear, while bringing something different to the makeup look. That’s how the four new colours joining the range came to life.

Four new shades, two finishes

The expansion includes one matte beige and three pearlescent shades:

Linen is a light matte beige. It can be used to brighten the waterline, open up the eyes or add subtle highlights in a very natural way.

Bark is a beautiful brown with a very fine, warm pearlescent finish. It is still an easy, wearable shade, but with more depth than a traditional matte brown.

Army is a khaki green with a golden reflection. It is probably the most distinctive of the four: it shifts slightly depending on the light and works beautifully both as a full liner and applied close to the lash line.

Abyss is a deep blue with a cool pearlescent finish that adds light without becoming too bright or difficult to wear.

The pearlescent effect in these three shades is subtle yet vibrant. There is no glitter or large particles, just a fine reflection that becomes especially visible when the product catches the light.

A more complete range

With these additions, the PRIME eye pencil range grows from five to nine shades.

The original colours (Cotton, Desert, Chocolate, Moon and Raven) continue to cover the collection’s matte essentials: white, taupe, brown, grey and black.

Linen joins them as another matte option, while Bark, Army and Abyss introduce a new category within the range: the Vibrant shades.

We wanted the new colours to bring real possibilities and make it easier to create a more interesting eye collection, without losing the simplicity that defines PRIME.

Wooden pencils, ready to join your brand

All nine shades are available as wooden pencils, a classic format that continues to work especially well for eye products.

They offer precise application, are easy to sharpen and have a format that consumers instantly recognise.

Like the rest of the PRIME Selection range, these are already-developed products created for projects that need to reach the market faster and with more accessible minimum order quantities than a fully custom development.
